Thursday
We are really forging ahead with our Vermont History Day Leadership and Legacy projects. Today we wrote a flash draft in our new In Class Journals that stay in our slots and are used during class (thus the name.)
This afternoon we will work to fill in any blanks. I'm moving the buddy sort for word study to tomorrow to give us more time to focus on our projects today.
Done so far on our projects:
Read book
20 or more notes
10 vocabulary words defined and connected to person
worksheet - Leader-action-legacy
flash draft
Still to come:
conferences
putting presentation together
mock presentation
final fixes
present
assess 5 others with rubric (click here to see rubric)
Remember, the presentation exhibit will be Friday January 23rd in the library at 9:30. Parents are welcome.
Tonight's homework:
Current Events - here's a new site to try http://www.cnn.com/studentnews
Read for 30 minutes
Math: page 13
(Is your Khan Academy done?)
