Today in LA we focused on note taking. We used more of our The First Americans book and practiced note taking. The different kinds of notes we found were:
important vocabulary like tribes
things people did like built igloos in one hour
descriptions of things like 40 foot boats with 14 rowers on each side
important sketches like the Rocky Mountains
At the beginning of math menu, Bailey Gordan, our district Ocupational Thearapist came and taught us some movement breaks. Some we can do right in our seats without anyone noticing!
In math menu some kids were finishing their science labs which include graphs of marbles rolling. Some also worked to finish skill sheet or math homework.
Tonight's homework:
Math: Skill sheet due Thursday and page 38
Read your in class novel - finish by Friday or over the weekend if you must
we choose new novels next week
Journal: ISILT
Science lab is due Friday
